- Water Level: Fill the chamber until the water is roughly 0.5 to 1 inch above the showerhead percolator slits. The wide base of the XL allows for a higher water capacity, which maximizes cooling.
- Cleaning: To keep the blue glass "candy-bright," soak the interior with 91% isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt. Because of the rounded chamber, it is very easy to shake and clean.
