Description
The Hillside Glass House Pillar Series represents the highest level of artistic functionality in their quartz collection. These kits are centered around the "Terp Pillar"—an elongated quartz cylinder that sits inside a slurper-style banger. Unlike round pearls, pillars provide a massive amount of surface area, which helps vaporize large concentrates instantly as they spin.
Each of these 3-piece kits typically includes the large top marble, the internal pillar, and a bottom valve marble or pearl.
Hillside Terp Kit Variations
| Kit Name | Aesthetic / Decorative Feature | Visual Vibe |
| Wig Wag | Features intricate "wig wag" line-work patterns on the marbles and pillar. | Traditional Heady: Classic psychedelic glass art. |
| Dicro / Dicro Pillar | Uses Dichroic glass, which has a metallic, color-shifting shimmer (like a hummingbird wing). | High-Tech: Futuristic, metallic rainbow reflections. |
| Marbled Pillar | Features swirls of opaque colors mixed into the glass, mimicking natural stone or marble. | Classy: Organic, fluid patterns. |
| Inner Eye | Features a detailed "milfiori" or lampworked eye encased in the center of the glass marbles. | Mystical: Artistic, focused on the "All-Seeing Eye" motif. |
| Pillar Terp Kit | Standard clear or simple color-accented quartz and glass components. | Minimalist: Focuses purely on the function of the pillar. |
Detailed Component Breakdown
1. The Pillar (The Core)
Instead of a small bead, these kits use a Quartz Pillar.
- Standard Pillar: Clear quartz for maximum heat retention.
- Dicro/Wig Wag Pillar: Decorative glass is often encased in quartz to provide the "pillar" shape while showing off the artwork.
2. The Top Marble (The Cap)
A large glass marble that sits on top of your banger (Slurper or Control Tower style). It creates a 100% airtight seal, allowing the vacuum to spin the internal pillar.
3. The Valve (The Middle)
A smaller marble or pearl that sits in the neck of the banger. This acts as a "check valve," allowing vapor to pass through to your rig while preventing oil from splashing down into the glass joint.
