Description
Resinate offers two distinct formulas tailored for different types of buildup. While you previously mentioned Nine9 Isopropyl Alcohol, Resinate is actually an alcohol-free alternative that uses a patented liquid formula to clean glass, metal, and ceramic.
Resinate Blue (16oz) — Non-Abrasive Liquid
The Blue formula is a soaking solution designed specifically for concentrates (oils, waxes, and dabs).
- Best For: Dab rigs, quartz bangers, and electronic vaporizer parts (like Puffco chambers).
- Action: It is a non-abrasive liquid that dissolves sticky "reclaim" without the need for scrubbing.
- How to Use: Pour the liquid into your piece or submerge small parts in a container. Let it soak for a few minutes (or longer for heavy buildup), shake gently, and rinse with warm water.
- Benefit: Since it has no grit, it is perfectly safe for high-end quartz and won't leave micro-scratches.
Resinate Green (12oz) — Abrasive Solution
The Green formula is an instant cleaner containing abrasive crystals to tackle "flower" residue (burnt resin and ash).
- Best For: Bongs, pipes, downstems, and bowls used for dry herb.
- Action: The small crystals act as "scrubbers" that physically break apart hard, crusty carbon buildup as you shake the piece.
- How to Use: Shake the bottle vigorously before pouring to ensure the crystals are suspended in the liquid. Pour it into the piece, cover the openings, and shake for 1–2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
- Note: Because it contains abrasives, it is "instant"—you don't usually need to let it soak for long periods.
Quick Comparison
| Feature | Resinate Blue | Resinate Green |
| Size | 16 oz | 12 oz |
| Formula Type | Non-Abrasive (Liquid Only) | Abrasive (Liquid + Crystals) |
| Primary Target | Oils, Waxes, Reclaim | Ash, Resin, Burnt Flower |
| Process | Soak & Rinse | Shake & Rinse |
| Alcohol Content | 0% (Alcohol-Free) | 0% (Alcohol-Free) |
Tip: If you have a piece with very narrow percs where crystals might get stuck, stick with the Resinate Blue or your Nine9 99% Alcohol. If you have a classic beaker bong with heavy resin, the Resinate Green will be much faster.
